”During the presidential campaign in 2008 President Obama said of health care reform, “… we’ll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies.” Yet, that is not what has happened. Instead, the Democrats are negotiating this 2,000 + page bill among themselves and locking Republicans and the American people out.
